✨ SFAI Subway National Cup – Second Round ✨
Moville Celtic U12 Braves 5–1 Lagan Harps 🏆
The U12 Braves hosted Lagan Harps and set about their business very early, straight on the front foot. Jake McGuinness Orr struck twice in the first ten minutes with two great finishes to give Moville a 2–0 lead.
Five minutes later, James Crumlish got his deserved goal after working hard in the build-up play, making it 3–0. Lagan were strong for the rest of the half and it turned into a real midfield battle.
Midway through the second half, Shay Doherty slotted home from 15 yards to make it 4–0. Lagan pulled one back from the penalty spot after a mis-timed tackle, but Moville finished strongly. Malachy Gill closed out the game with a strike from outside the box to complete a 5–1 win.
Luke Mason put on a captain’s display at the back, while Henri Gillen worked tirelessly in midfield 🙌
Both teams put in strong performances across the pitch with the scoreline harsh on Lagan, who played very well throughout 💚
